Many thanks to the organisers for inviting us to give this tribute.\n\n### Plenaries and high-level events\n\nThe Basel Institute's President Peter Maurer participated in the 8th plenary session on Friday 21 June on <a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhO-G5pKaqw&list=PL1X_f2TdrmK9-xO8ewdPKHMN1l5P-lPWa&index=10\">Democracy and human rights under siege: tackling corruption’s darkest side</a> (click to view recording).\n\nNicola Bonucci, Member of the Board, also took part in the High-Level Segment of the IACC on Wednesday 19 June, opened by the Prime Minister of Lithuania.
