Marilyn Ramírez
Specialist, HR
Marilyn Ramírez joined the Basel Institute in July 2022 in the role of Specialist, HR. In this function she supports the institute local and global staff members in a variety of HR-related tasks.
Originally from Costa Rica, Marilyn moved to France for professional reasons and later to Basel where she began her career in Human Resources. Marilyn has held a variety of HR roles in large and small companies in Switzerland, including in the pharmaceutical industry (Novartis, Roche) and insurance sector (Helvetia Versicherung).
In her roles she has been responsible for the administration of the HR employment cycle, HR Onboarding on a global scale and the coordination of continuing education employees.
In addition to her mother tongue Spanish, Marilyn speaks English, German and French.
Marilyn holds a Bachelor in Journalism and a Swiss Federal Diploma in HR Administration.
